I don't get where the confusion is coming from honestly. Trap = can easily pass as the opposite sex, but doesn't actually identify that way.
Serious questions regarding this.
How do I know what a particular image, or person in a video identifies as? I am sure most pictures and videos do not at all declare" say "I am trans?"
Stuff like "shemale" is just oudated terminology. Futa is a hentai thing.
There was no confusion here...
I looked around in the site and there are literally images and videos with "shemale" written all over them. If anything, I think those folks in those images/videos decided it is okay to be called those. Would that be so outdated if the source literally says "shemale" on the face of the image?
What if a person, in 2026, identifies as "shemale." Would the community here attack the person because it is an outdated term?
This is getting very complicated because we usually know what males and females are based on what they physically show on their bodies. Somehow, it is also visible for the classical "shemale". That's what we do in tagging: we describe what we see and then add it to the list. Do we now have to look into their mindset and figure out how they identified as? Not that we have to be psychologists but how do we do that when there is just an image of a person lewdly posing (or behaving)?
Can we really not just do something to the effect of "male_with_enlarged_boobs"? "flat_chested_female_with_boob_job_scar?"
Or should "trans" be a meta type of tag because it's not something the taggers would know without delving into the mindset of the person in the image?
